LITURGY OF THE WORD
From the Book of Sirach
15.16 to 20 *
If you want to keep his commandments, they guard you,
if you trust him, you will.
He has placed before you fire and water:
where you tend your hand.
Before humans
are life and death, good and evil will be given to each
what he pleases.
Great indeed is the wisdom of the Lord;
strong and powerful, he sees everything. His eyes are
on those who fear him, he knows every human

Word of God!
Responsorial Psalm - 118
R. / Blessed are those who walk in the law of the Lord.
1. Blessed is he who is healthy in its way
and walk in the law of the Lord.
Blessed is he who keeps his teachings
and seek him with all my heart.
2. You have proclaimed your precepts to be observed because
entirely.
are stable in my ways
keep your commandments.
3. Be kind to your servant and I live,
will keep your word.
Open my eyes because I consider
the wonders of your law.
4. Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees
and will keep it until the end.
Give me understanding, that I
guard your law and observe with all my heart.
from the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians
2.6 to 10 Brothers and sisters. Among those who are mature Christians talk about, yes, of wisdom, but a wisdom that is not of this world, nor the powerful of this time, as prepared for anything.
Let's talk about the wisdom of God: his plan to make us part of his life, God has kept hidden before creation. No power of this age has known, if they had known it would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written in the Bible: What eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man, God has prepared for those who love him. But to us God has made known through the Holy Spirit who knows everything, even the secret thoughts of God Word of God!
Alleluia, alleluia!
thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because the little you have revealed the mysteries of the kingdom. Hallelujah!
+ From the Gospel according to Matthew
5.17 to 24 at that time. Jesus said to his disciples: "I do not think that I have come to abolish the Law of Moses or the prophets: I came not to abolish them but to give its full completion. Verily I say unto you, until you have passed the heavens and the earth, it will not be a single comma or a single dash of the Law, until all is done. Therefore, whoever violates one of these least commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of God but who keeps them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of God
I say it: if your obedience to God's will not exceed that of the masters of the law and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of God
You have heard that it was said to your ancestors: Thou shalt not kill, and whoever kills shall be submitted to the court (Deut. 5:17).
But I say to every one who is angry with his brother will be subject to legal proceedings. And whoever says to his brother: "Stupid", to be submitted to the supreme court, and whoever says, "Crazy", will be devoted to the unquenchable fire (hell).
So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, it should 'first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come to offer your gift.
Word of the Lord!
