To inaugurate this new year my friend Paul and I decided to go to where in addition to Annone Brianza Half-competitive, the organizers added a non-competitive on the distance of half marathon of 10.5 km and a .... and it is on this race that decided to take a training to compete a little more exciting than usual and especially away from the monotony of the usual daily route of training.
... We arrive early on the competition as it is our custom, we reserve the atmosphere worthy of a nice cold weather this season ... We are not seen in the climate race we decide to wait until the last half an hour to attend to the practices of stretching and warming up.
The number of competitors in the competitive approaches to the 300 participants, a good number to be the first competitive year in a small village in Brianza.
punctually at 9.45 am is the date of departure competitive race and we start immediately to follow, too.
We notice immediately that the course is very challenging with ups and downs but at the same time also very nice ... 've got a very conservative, but increased slightly with the passing of adapting quickly to nervous km race course.
The Km and pass quickly through the two laps of the course for half marathon and learned to "stick" we have the opportunity to cross twice in the first half-marathon rankings of the difficulties that they forgot that the race course reserves velocemnete rushing toward the finish line Final (for the record will win the race a strong athlete who has the best Sicilian on the winner of the previous year's strong Colnaghi athlete Monza winner of many events in Lombardy).
arrival we find a nice hot tea puts an end to our work and really put a race package (10 € for 4 bottles of water ... no comment !!!).
After the arrival of the first participants resume their way home for a nice hot shower ... a few more days and I expect the cross of six Campaccio! and they are going to be a pretty hard work to try and not be too far from the tail of the group .... NEXT ....
