Friday, October 30, at the Conference Hall of the Pordenone Fair, held a meeting organized by Manageritalia Trieste, which, as announced at the beginning, should have accuparsi to define a new role of corporate managers, sustainable development and lasting. You have to laugh to keep from crying: What were, then, until now, these manager ? The current economic crisis proves it: people overpaid and yet unable to develop and / or to conduct forward-looking strategies, people who have complained Friday night that they were not heard by the same contractors who used them.
They were supposed to express, instead, at least humble enough to complain about not being able to be heard, which is a very different concept. The fault of their own in this economic crisis, it's great.
"Our" manager could not resist the temptation of a "bite" too big to escape lascirselo: high wages, without the need to produce real results, it was enough to satisfy "the boss". This allowed them to travel with big cars (not sweaty, but paid by the company) to attend class hotels, to meet with politicians of high popular support. This allowed them to attract the admiration / envy of the neighbors, because that is what counts, in Italy, and that for which you are willing to sell their souls and morality, if there were any, has jurisdiction.
The meeting on Friday, according to what is shown on the flyer, should " involve members of the institutional, economic and social development of Friuli Venezia Giulia to discuss how best to address the risks and opportunities in the region . "
After the greeting (verbose) the Chairman of the Fair of Pordenone, followed three interventions, which have shown, respectively, measures Friulia in support of the crisis, with the premise that the Company is not the usual contact managers, but holders business (ie, the argument was not about the manager), the psychological stress of the manager, so that it can deal with awareness (topic to which the organizers of the meeting have not been shown to be involved) the presentation of "brilliant" proposal managers, what they themselves have called for 3 and 10, which was presented in three or four minutes, but with great emphasis.
After intervention there was the expected discussion. So, the gathering, the organizers wanted to connote a far more resonant name (conference), was in fact the "usual" self-congratulation, without any chance to risk a confrontation with the audience.
In any case, participation in the meeting was poor to say the least: I do not think we have reached the number of thirty persons in the room, but involvement of the "world "institutional, economic and social!
But let's proposal 10 to 3, prepared, according to those who have shown, to reassess the role of company managers, on the basis of meritocracy, equity and participation and " rebuild trust in the workplace . Here is the proposal: award the variable compensation for all employees by reducing the income tax to 10% on a maximum quota of 10% of the total compensation for a maximum of € 10 thousand gross. This would result in an average increase of net pay € 460 annually for each worker or employee, for an overview of 1,440 € and 2,960 € for one manager.
Great suggestion! And the climate of trust? And the meritocracy? And participation? And again: where is the far-sighted proposal, which is necessary for sustainable development and lasting ? Evidently, the crisis has not yet taught enough. The crisis has yet to go further exacerbate the masses. We are still behind. It is 3 to 10 and will continue to do only 30.
