The most productive periods, for my work, are fall and spring, while summer is a period of "enthusiasm" work, ie the period in which I can think of new ideas.
Winter is, however, that period when five o'clock, when it gets dark, I would already be "sleeping." Even at work I give a little, because I lack your enthusiasm: start working in the dark and ends with the dark and are years that dream to go "dormant".
So this year I decided to experiment groped.
I already started last year to gather ideas on things that give me the happiness I have built a "tree of happiness" (which is good for the Christmas to Easter - for those who believe, of course), where hang objects that remind me of happy moments. Among these, my bicycle, bread, desserts (all made with clay) and I want to add others over time.
hibernation, I've decided that will begin on 11 December 2009 and end January 10, 2010, will be for me a period of rest (long sleep) and leisure but will also be dedicated to the affects (the family and friends) and typically domestic practices, minimizing power consumption. I will, first, a small supply of "raw materials" and then not do even more shopping or food or clothing.
I will work with the light and in the evening I will go straight to bed (well, it will save energy too, either as electricity or as heat).
I'll be up early (at 7, when the sun starts to rise), cucirò, cook and go to visit friends during the day, cycling and bring them bread and cakes and a few hand-made accessories. Maybe, some useful Christmas present.
It 's the first time I do one thing: how it will go, but I'll take note of everything, in order to improve the experience and why this idea davero attracts me a lot.
